Reports have it that Sheffield Wednesday are looking to loan out highly-rated striker Charles Hagan, and Aldershot Town have been mentioned in the loan move

If he's anything like Jimmy Hagan, once of Sheffield Utd, get him, ATFC.

Frankly I'd take Hulk Hagan up front at the moment

Hard to see us taking another striker on board now, unless Mo is out long-term and/or Willard goes out on loan for regular game time. Perhaps this lad was the Plan B option if the Aouachria deal fell through?

I think I recall from Jack Rollins’ book that Jimmy Hagan played quite a few games for us as a guest player during WW2.

The Wednesday Hagan is listed as a right winger on one site, so I guess it might happen, but it seems more likely that he was a target before we got the lad from Charlton.

Agreed if we had the ability to bring anyone else in now then surely a proper central midfielder and/or a right back would be priority over another forward.

I would like to see right winger Charles Hogan brought in, he could be a match winner (it's his birthday today 20). Apparently he's very attack minded and takes defenders on and beats them. I've seen our first two home games and the majority of our attacks came down the left of the pitch. Bringing Charles in would redress the balance.

The "Sheffield Star" is reporting today that Sheffield Wednesday are looking to put 20yr old defender Josh Dawodu out on loan to either the Shots or Dagenham & Redbridge.

We've had good players from Wednesday (and a manager!)

Kevin Pressman's sister is also married to my uncle! :D

I remember when Bradford came down and Kevin Pressman was their GK coach, spent ages talking to him, a really nice bloke and hilarious, told some proper good stories, but he wouldn’t make a pundit, he’s got great knowledge but he is a bit ‘earthy’
