I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I chose playing golf today to going to the game - have never done that before.

I went to our previous home game and left the game thinking I didn't want to come back until Searle as his merry men are gone.

Now I've been coming to the Shots for many years with my mum who is in a wheelchair. She is clinically vulnerable and for obvious reasons has not been out of the house much over the past 18 months.

She loves her football and she loves the Shots and when I asked her on Friday if she had thought about if she'd like to go today she said she just couldn't get up the enthusiasm to go whilst the existing manager is still here and we're playing so badly.

I think that kind of sums the current situation up pretty well.

As much as it pains me to say it I don't think either of us will be back until this management regime has gone.

Sad days.
Richard
Know how you feel, I can add a few more years on watching the shots and I have the same feeling, the only thing that keeps me motivated is the banter with friends and others that stand around us. Slowly but surely that is going to disapear if changes are not made. As soon as we scored I predicted that we would loose in th 89th minute, only 1 minute out. Will mis you not coming and are you sure you can afford to give up your regular winnings?
Chris

The banter is the only entertainment we get!

Good point ref the regular winnings - definitely can't afford to lose out on them.

See you at the next home game!!! πŸ˜πŸ˜‰

Neil Smith or Mark Molesley please get yourself ready.

I half expect the fans forum to be cancelled if we lose Tuesday.

Neil Smith is joining Rob in the commentary box at Southend. A coincidence???

Would people be happy with Smith even though he played for Woking? Might be like Dillon all over again…

After the last 10 years are there still be people that narrow minded? If so they are part of the problem, not the solution.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Neil Smith has been in the commentary box a couple of times before. As said above, I think he is friends with Rob.
