Unwanted records

So are we officially at our worst ever start to a season now?
Also, what is the record for consecutive defeats at the start of a football season?

Could be someone like Hyde, Leigh RMI in this division or Leicester in division 1 in 83-84

Hyde FC - officially the worst team in Conference history. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Hyde still didn’t have a worst start though, lost first two then drew two.

I would suggest that we’re in trouble even at this early stage

Trouble is Azeem won't sell and under him we just get deeper in the mire, it's only going to end one way.

If Dover equal Hyde's record they'll end on -2 pts which means even if we lose all our games we still wont finish bottom :D Or am I clutching at straws ?

Didn't Leicester do something quite big a couple of years back?

Clearly they did but they still had a shocking start to the 83-84 season but stayed up in the end

In theory Dover have one more point than us.

I'd keep hold of that. If it's an original we might be able to exchange it for an attacking midfielder or maybe encourage Horner to play for the Shots and take Corners.

I don't know what the record is-we might actually be setting it !! I do remember from my old Guinness Book of Records I got one Christmas that in the 1930's Rochdale lost 26 of their final 27 games with a draw between 17 straight loses and another 9 defeats . That has to be the mother of all run ins W 0 D 1 L 26 I think they lost a cup game in between-or maybe that was one of the 26, God the GBR was good back then , full of records that meant something rather than some weirdo having 200 snails put on his face.
We're so bad this year , we might as well have a go at that record-it'll become a warm memory to us all in future years. I bet Rochdale fans dined out for an age on the disastrous 1930's season that got into the GBR for many decades.
