Ex-Chelsea Academy keeper (Dad Mark is the goalkeeper coach), played at the EBB lots of times when he was at Chelsea.

Don’t intend this to come across in a bad way but I’d never heard of Bowers and Pitsea until now. We’ve slipped on plenty of banana skins in recent years and should never underestimate any opposition.

Game may well be switched to Sunday because they share with Hashtag United who have a home game against Heybridge Swifts on the 16th October. Hashtag seem to have paid for the 3G and upgrade to the ground, which now looks like this.

Don't FA organised games take precedence over league games?

Unsure if that applies where one club isn't involved in the FA Organised game though.

I presume you mean putting at the strongest team rather than risking a Farnborough Hants Cup type team ?

I meant in terms of preparing mentally.

In the last few years strong teams have been put out against Shortwood, Burgess Hill, Eastbourne, East Thurrock (x2) and we have been shown up for a lack of understanding in what it takes to play these type of sides.
