Robbie Savage

Did anyone see Robbie getting involved in this proper old fashioned 1970's style brawl at Macclesfield earlier this season.
I missed it in the news (I see the Sun covered it at the time), but probably not featured so as to not publicize football violence.
Anyway its a proper rough & tumbe. Robbie (dressed all in white) appears from the right hand side and walks across the pitch towards the ensuing aggro.

I suggest you watch the documentary, then you’ll see it was nothing like you described. When Macc played Congleton there was a small fracas, hardly ‘proper rough and tumble’, on the terrace, Savage and his co-owner went across to talk to the fans to try and stop it. At no point did he get involved in any fisticuffs, or come close to getting involved.

If you haven't seen the documentary, I think it's worth watching. It's not all about Robbie Savage and has a lot of similarities to the Shots when we went out of the league. The owner bought the club for £500,000, but it soon turned into a spend of 2.5 million I think. What it did highlight was the greed of some players, even at that level. They have agents, and one player wanted all his groceries paid for a year to sign! These are players on £50-£100 per week. The fight incident just showed Robbie running over to the fans pleading them to stop. I think it purposely didn't show any violence.

Good watch this documentary and something a supporter should appreciate all the hard work that goes into running a club.
They’ve invested 4 million so far and made a trading profit for the month of October.
